Station to Station was another album that had the original sleeve withdrawn just before release in the US and the UK. The withdrawn-by-Bowie colour version even went as far as being illustrated in RCA pre-release promotional material and some copies of the printed slick even made it to record stores in the UK for display purposes.

The released black and white sleeve was eventually replaced by the colour version on the subsequent reissues, but printer proofs of both the US and UK covers continue to demand high prices on the collectors' market.
